Nancy has always loved painting, yet pursued other avenues of creativity. Having had a career in the arts first as a professional actress, then teacher, having been the owner and artistic director of the former Theatre By And For Children, she went on to establish and run an entertainment and events company.
A native of New York City, she studied voice at the Juilliard School and also is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, where she was a master's student studying acting with the renowned Sanford Meisner.
Upon enrolling in a painting class, she fell in love with the excitement, joy and fun of painting, and hasn't put her brushes down since. She describes her work and has been described as an atmospheric colorist.
Nancy is an exhibiting member of the Rowayton Arts Guild, Greenwich Arts Council, Old Greenwich Arts Society, Easton Arts Council, and Lymne Arts Society as well as Fairfield County Plein air painters and Lymne Plein aire painters.
Her paintings are sold in galleries and by commission to homes in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey and can be seen by appointment only in her Stamford, CT studio.
Nancy has studied painting at The Arts Students League, Rowayton Arts Center and Silvermine School of Art.
